Special Agency Studio

Special Agency Studio

This recently declassified location in Berlin is where we organize events and host our sessions and residencies for other special agents from around the world. Situated in the middle of the former demarkation line separating the East from the West, it’s the last standing structure of the Berlin wall today.

If you would like to do a residency at the Special Agency studio or to host an event, please, contact us using the form on the Special Residency page with your proposition and we will get back to you.

The studio is very centrally located and yet it’s sufficiently isolated from the outside, making it possible to switch off from the outside world while staying in close proximity to it.

Studio Description

The studio is 85 sq meters large and it is situated at Kunstfabrik Am Flutgraben in Kreuzberg, Berlin at a historical factory building, which used to be part of the Berlin wall (nearest metro: Schlessisches Tor). It has all the necessary amenities, including a kitchen, a sink with running water (the shower and the toilets in another space upstairs), a bed (for those who like to work in the night), wi-fi, great light during the daytime, spot light and photo lights during the night, 500W PA with a mixer and a 500W subwoofer, 2 x 200W monitors, 3 tables, projector, concrete floor, gray walls, and some other useful stuff. There’s also another kitchen with a fridge and a washing machine outside.

There is an extensive library of great books of fiction and various works in cognitive and network science, art, performance, psychology, and philosophy.
